Hi!

My hope is that this blog will give you a glimpse inside my life in Ireland!

Mom’s Herb Crusted Grilled Salmon

Mom’s Herb Crusted Grilled Salmon

Today's recipe is simple and clean, so in keeping with the theme, today's post is simple and clean.

I have been cooking a lot for clients (yes, clients with a ‘s’ is correct, it’s plural!)!! And I have graciously been cooking out of my parent’s kitchen. After my food deliveries are complete I return home tired. My parents noticed one night and made me dinner. This was the recipe they served me and I immediately knew I needed it! I’ve served it to two clients and it’s been a hit!

The natural oils in the salmon grill so nicely to create this crispy, herb infused, crust. It’s quite tasty! And shockingly enough when my mom shared the recipe I realized that most people probably have some, if not all, of these ingredients sitting in their pantry. Grab the salmon and you’re ready to grill!

Mom’s Herb Crusted Grilled Salmon

Serves 4

  • 4 Salmon Fillets
  • 1 Tablespoon dried Parsley
  • 1 Tablespoon dried Basil
  • 1 Tablespoon dried Oregano
    • Any dried herbs you like, or have on hand, will work in this recipe
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Lawry’s Seasoned Salt

Mix the dry herb rub ingredients together in a bowl. Coat the salmon fillets heavily. Place salmon herb-side-up on a preheated grill (400F). Depending on fillet size grill 4-6 minutes per side, flipping only once. Serve immediately or lasts in fridge for 2-3 days once cooked.

I couldn't stop eating it, ha!
